THE PROJECT:
I used to go out and see a lot of music, and I used to write about a lot of music. Sadly, I don’t do either that often anymore. I had to change that. And there’s no better place than NYC. There are hundreds of music venues here, and probably thousands of possible bands to see every night. So for 100 consecutive days, I’m going to see at least 100 bands in a self-induced binge gigging marathon (Jan 23 to May 2).
THE RULES:
I must see 100 bands in 100 days. That’s (at least) one band every day for 100 days.
It must be 100 different bands. No repeats.
When I arrive at the show, I must stay until the end of the main set.
Encores are optional.
